We have released updated Photo Galleries module.
The focus was primarily on image and gallery administration. Now, all skins allow logged in blog authors to switch between administrative and published views with ease.
When logged in to your blog and viewing your blog as published on Internet, you will see 'Edit Image' link while browsing each photo gallery, and you will see 'Edit Gallery' and 'Edit Image' links when viewing a photo.
